If your phone is missing or you believe an entry is wrong, email us with the model and what you see on the TV.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if my phone supports USB-C to HDMI?
Search your model above. If it is marked Supported, the phone has DisplayPort Alt Mode and a plain USB-C to HDMI cable will work. If it is marked Not supported, no cable or app can add video output. The USB-C to HDMI app also has a built-in checker that tests the port directly.
Why does my USB-C to HDMI cable charge the phone but show nothing?
Charging and data use different wires than video. A phone without DisplayPort Alt Mode will happily charge through the cable while sending no picture. This is the most common reason a cable appears broken.
Can an app enable HDMI output on a phone that does not support it?
No. DisplayPort Alt Mode is wired into the phone's chipset and USB controller. Apps can only use it if the manufacturer enabled it. For unsupported phones the alternative is casting over Wi-Fi, for example with the Browser Cast mode in the app.
Do all Samsung phones support HDMI output?
No. Galaxy S, Note, Z Fold, Z Flip 7 and most Tab S models do. The Galaxy A, M and Tab A series, and Z Flip models before the Flip 7, do not.
Which Google Pixel phones support USB-C to HDMI?
Pixel 8, 8 Pro, 8a and every Pixel released after them. Pixel 7 and older have the feature disabled in hardware.
