Common issues

The app says my phone is not compatible. Is there a workaround?
No. Wired output needs DisplayPort Alt Mode in the phone hardware. Use Browser Cast in the app, which works over Wi-Fi with any TV that has a web browser.
The TV shows No Signal.
Confirm the phone is on the compatibility list, select the correct HDMI input on the TV, try a different HDMI port, remove any adapter chain, and restart the phone with the cable connected. Full steps in the troubleshooting guide.
The picture works but there is no sound.
Open the app's settings and make sure audio output is set to TV. Check that Bluetooth headphones are not connected. Some TVs need the HDMI input's audio set to PCM.
Netflix shows a black screen.
Streaming services block HDMI output on Android through HDCP. This is enforced by the service, not the app. Local videos and photos are not affected.
I bought Pro but it is still locked.
Open the app, go to settings and tap Restore purchases while signed in to the same Google account used for the purchase. If that fails, email us with your Google Play order number (starts with GPA).
How do I get a refund?
Within 48 hours, request it from Google Play directly. After that, email us with the order number and we will process it.
Too many ads?
Ads appear in the free version only. Pro removes them. If you see ads after purchasing, use Restore purchases.
