Do Motorola Razr series phones support USB-C to HDMI?

Only the Ultra models. The Razr 40 Ultra, 50 Ultra and 60 Ultra (Razr+ in the US) and the Razr 2022 support USB-C to HDMI. The base Razr 40, 50 and 60 do not.

Motorola splits the Razr line the same way as the Edge line: the expensive model gets a USB 3.1 port with DisplayPort and wired Ready For, the cheaper one gets USB 2.0 and wireless only.

What to do with a Motorola Razr series phone

  1. If your model is marked Supported above, get a USB-C to HDMI cable rated 4K 60Hz. See the cable guide.
  2. Plug the TV in first, then the phone, and select the HDMI input. Open the app to cast photos, videos and music in a TV layout.
  3. If your model is marked Not supported, skip the cable and use the Browser Cast mode in the app over Wi-Fi.

No. Wired video output is decided by the phone's chipset and port wiring. The alternative is wireless: the Browser Cast mode in the USB-C to HDMI app, a Chromecast, or the TV's built-in casting.
